„In this workshop I will teach you one of the most popularformats performed all over the world today, the Armando. Wewill work on skills that help you to be successful in the 3elements of the format, Personal stories (Source material),identifying different themes, elements and inspiration forscenes in the personal stories, and then playing dynamicallydifferent scenes that use the stories as inspiration for a biggerpiece of theater. We will look at the Armando as a form ofboth Organic AND Narrative Longform, where the scenesspring forth from the monologues in obvious and non-obviousways, and as we bring them back we discover the themes andstories that harmonize them into a bigger theatrical picture.There will be a performance at the end of the workshop forthose that wish to play, but the performance is not arequirement to take the workshop“
